What is the tertulia?

Popular in Spain and parts of Latin America, the Tertulia concept is where people congregate to share performance art, spoken word, literary arts, philosophical conversations and networking while enjoying food and drink.

The Gay8 Tertulia is a space for LBT women and their friends to celebrate art, creativity, culture and each other!

Factoid on Anna:

" Anna spent the first 15 years of her career in Paris, France , moving there after graduating college in 1993. Working as a filmmaker, she inadvertently became a party organizer. As an Events Organizer for the French national LGBT magazine, Têtu, Anna created and produced promotional events at the Opera de Bastille with over 5,000 attendees and the Têtu Tour de France, Belgium, and Switzerland. As a producer, Anna works in film as well as, in digital, coordinating an 8-part series for Anthony Bourdain/The Perfect Dish Asia/CNN, Summer, 2017. LA Weekly calls her work, “Riveting” and IndieWire spotlighted her as a “Filmmaker to watch!”
